Things you might want to know:
SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Sunday school caters for children from 4-14 years of age who do not attend a Catholic School. In addition there are classes for all the children in the Parish, including those at Catholic Schools, who are preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, the Eucharist and Confirmation.
For further information please contact Father or Sister Mary Agnes.
Bula Buta Ethiopia
Get involved with our project in helping educate kids in Ethiopia, adopt a child that has never been to school and work with the parish to give a child an education.
CRYING ROOMS
The small room at the back of the church opposite the book shop, and the Lady chapel, to the left of the altar, are both soundproof. If you are concerned that your child might be disturbing other parishioners during Mass, please make use of one of these rooms. The Mass is relayed over the loud speaker system.
Alter Servers
Boys and Girls who have made their First Communion and who would like to be altar servers are invited to speak to Father about training.
ALTAR SOCIETY
We keep the Church looking beautiful by undertaking a few cleaning duties and arranging the flowers. We work on a Rota basis and are always ready to welcome new members.

CHOIR
The 11 am Mass each Sunday is a Family Mass during which we sing the Liturgy according to the Liturgical Season. We have an excellent Folk Group for this Mass - guitars, saxophone, etc. with a small group of young singers who would love to have their numbers increased. If you are interested and would like to participate more fully, please contact Vincent Yearly on 01372844219 or Helen Evans on 01932 866196
We also have special choir practices for adults - soprano, alto, tenor and bass: in preparation for Christmas and Holy Week. Look out for these occasions in the Newsletter
THE PARISH BOOK SHOP
The Book Shop, on the right as you enter the church through the main door, is open after all weekend Masses and after weekday Masses on request
We are constantly updating our stock of missals, bibles, books for adults and children, statues, crucifixes, rosary beads, medals, Mass cards and greetings cards for all occasions. The shop is managed and staffed by volunteers from the parish. We aim to provide a service for parishioners and to contribute to parish funds.
LOOP SYSTEM
The church has been fitted with a loop system. If you wear a hearing aid, you can switch into the system by turning to the letter "T" on your aid.
CHURCHES TOGETHER
Each year our parish is involved, with other local churches, in the organization of and participation in THE OCTAVE OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY ONE WORLD WEEK and THE WOMEN'S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER.
